Jake’s Place, Devon

Follow the winding path, through the vegetable patch and you’ll find a homemade cabin; a treasure trove waiting to explore, filled with delights for the big and the small. Adults have a comfy double bed whilst the little ones can climb up their ‘tree-bunk’. Take part in pizza making workshops, help out with the chickens and explore the apple orchard, you can even join in wood working and clay courses. After a big day, relax by the campfire spot at the bottom of the garden.
Sky Den, Northumberland

Make like Tarzan in this sky-high retreat! The Sky Den is a unique structure built by the inimitable George Clarke, the amazing spaces expert. Spend the day living the life of an adventurer; canoeing, abseiling and sailing are all options or the brave can fly through the forest on a zip wire. Wind down in your Treehouse with the roof open and enjoy unobstructed views of the Northumberland Dark Skies. Truly incredible.

The Airstream Field is a peaceful, pretty spot and you’ll have your own private picnic bench and deckchairs to relax outside while the kids wheelbarrow race or make use of the games equipment in the middle of the field.
Van Goff, Powys

This charming caravan had a previous life at Horse Trials but has now permanently settled down in the depths of Wales. With retro touches and thoughtful interiors throughout a stay here will leave you feeling truly rested. For the spirited there is a rowing boat to take out on the lake and a local Wishing Tree to visit.
The Coppice Woodland, Hertfordshire

Just 35 minutes from London, this woodland camp houses a VW and a bell tent offering room for all the family; a single bed at the front of the campervan is made up for the little ones.
