  This month we're welcoming to the Trunki herd Gerry the Giraffe. He's an extra special Trunki because £5 from every sale made through the Trunki online shop will be donated to Bristol Zoological Society to help their conservation work with giraffes. To celebrate his arrival we headed to the Wild Place Project in Bristol and took with us some of our biggest Trunki fans! You might remember that this summer Trunki sponsored a Gromit as part of the fab Gromit Unleashed - a public art exhibition led by Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal and Aardman Animations. 'Our' Gromit was a Mexican wrestler tiger designed and created by Carys Tait and displayed at Windmill Hill City Farm. We were pretty fond of him. But now he's got a new home! Trixie Trunki helps Jessica with her charity walk

Last year we told you about our friend Jessica (8 years old), and her friend, Trixie Trunki, who helps her get out and about by carrying her oxygen tank. You can read the post by clicking here. We were thrilled to find out that Jessica recently completed a 1-mile walk to raise money for the 100,000 Smiles Appeal at her school. This is a huge accomplishment for Jessica, who has Cerebral Palsy and chronic lung disease, meaning she is dependent on an oxygen supply 24/7. You’ve all been introduced to the adorable Animal SnooziHedz, and should know by now that for every SnooziHedz sold, 50 pence will be donated to a relevant charitable cause. The sales of Pippin the Penguin SnooziHedz in particular will help support the penguin conservation project run by Bristol Zoo. These African penguins are threatened in the wild and are in a co-ordinated conservation breeding programme supported by Trunki.
